Updaten von älterer Version: (benutzen Sie den winscp Filebrowser) 
  1. alten Ordner napp-it umbenennen/löschen,
  2. neuen Ordner napp-it in den cgi-bin-Ordner kopieren
  3. Rechte auf Ordner napp-it mit winscp neu setzen (z.b. rwx recursiv auf alles)

if you want to upgrade napp-it (use winscp file browser)
  1. delete/ rename old napp-it folder
  2. copy new napp-it folder to cgi-bin
  3. set rights with winscp on folder napp-it (ex. set rwx to all recursiv)

Achtung:
napp-it besteht aus  DOS-Textdateien, bitte mit WinSCP kopieren.
Sie werden dann automatisch zu Unix-Textdateien umgewandelt. !!

Attention:
napp-it constists of DOS-Textfiles.
Copy them via WinSCP to convert them to unix.


eon - user:
napp-it läuft auf eon/ opensolaris:
- benutzen Sie eine Version mit CIFS-Server (kein Samba)
-kopieren Sie mit WinSCP den Inhalt von /napp-it/_log/lib/*  in den  perl library ordner /usr/perl5/5.8.4/lib/

to run unmodified napp-it,
 -you must use a cifs-version with http-server
 -you must copy content of /napp-it/_log/lib/* to perl library folder /usr/perl5/5.8.4/lib/ 
(use winscp) - otherwise you will get error 500 due to missing library carp.pm
 
Folgendes fehlt noch in napp-it auf eon/ opensolaris:
not implemented in eon (needs to be done - compared to nexenta version)
(this menue items are disabled when running on eon):

- create and select system-snapshots to boot from
- grouping of napp-it server for tiering and syncing (will run if you install socat ;
  socat is used for high-speed data transfer and communication of napp-its via http-post to have no passwords in log-files)
- secury setup (needs to be done on eon/ opensolaris)

Ziel von napp-it ist ein schnell installierbarer, sofort einsetzbarer und leicht benutzbarer ZFS Server für die häufigsten Anwendungen im Bereich Internetserver, NAS und SAN (INS).
